This page contains information on the regulations which the Committee has taken on formal referral. The Statutory Instruments can be obtained from www.tso.co.uk/bookshop. The Committee may ask for formal referral on proposals for regulations which:
- Make possibly contentious changes to established policy and/or practice; and/or
- adversely affects entitlement to benefit for particular groups or individuals.
In practice the Committee only asks for a small minority of proposals to be formally referred.
